ZM High Performance Mixing Systems

PEGASUS ZMD and ZMR mixers can be used for equalization, denitrification and homogenization processes in industrial and civil applications. Submerged mixers are the most practical and efficient solution for mixing liquids in sewage and water treatment plants. Once properly installed in the tanks, these devices give the liquid in which they are immersed a force which varies according to the diameter, the shape and the speed of rotation of the propeller, so as to keep the liquid mass in motion to optimize the homogenization and to avoid the formation of deposits. Installations can be single, multiple or, where appropriate, in combination with bottom aeration systems, depending on the application. The motors in efficiency class IE3, already fitted to the Pegasus UNIQA submersible pumps, make it possible to limit management costs by reducing consumption and maintenance. Due to their full compatibility and numerous accessories, the mixers can be installed anywhere in the tank to optimize mixing, as well as replacing obsolete equipment in stations already in operation..

Installation

To further optimize the operation of the mixers, PEGASUS has developed a wide range of accessories to regulate the position of the devices inside the tank, to lift and extract them without having to empty the entire system. Specially designed to simplify their installation, the accessories are generously sized to guarantee a long service life. They are available in galvanized steel or stainless steel. Bottom installation (A) Fixed installation where the mixer is coupled to a base anchored to the bottom of the tank. A special adjustment plate allows the mixer to be oriented horizontally and vertically, according to the specific requirements of the station. Cantilever installation (B) Mobile installation where the mixer can be installed and removed when the tank is full. The mixer is suspended on a suspension bar anchored to a mounting bracket. It can be oriented horizontally and vertically. Guide bar installation The most common installation, suitable for all mixer formats and sizes. Equipped with a slide also compatible with existing structures, the mixer slides on a square bar. Solid lifting brackets allow it to be extracted from the tank without having to empty it. The mixer can be oriented horizontally to perfect its position as much as possible. Special sliders (optional) must be used for its vertical orientation.
