Pegasus PR series stirrers are made of cast iron with stainless steel propeller. The self-cleaning propellers have a maximum diameter of 2100 mm. The electric motors have a power of 0.8 to 5.5 kW, 4 or 6 poles, and a planetary gearbox. The large slow-rotating propeller keeps a very large body of water moving at low speed. The PR series agitators are mainly used in oxidation tanks, denitrification tanks and in all installations where it is necessary to avoid the formation of sediments at the bottom.

PR series agitators are equipped with a full range of accessories for installation and maintenance in any type of tank or basin. These accessories also guarantee the correct positioning of the stirrer thanks to the various possible settings. The agitator is supplied as standard with guide rail and lifting hook. The tools can be in hot-dip galvanized iron or in stainless steel. The structure of all lifting systems is extremely robust to guarantee efficiency and durability. Another advantage: each part can be dismantled to also assemble the installation without lifting gear. All Pegasus tubes have a special attachment on the upper part to dismantle the lifting system and reuse it several times.
